Takeo Province, August 16, 2026 – Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. participated in the “Phnom Da Green Tourism and Education Cycling Event” heading to Phnom Da Temple in Takeo Province, sport in the Green Season, organized by Audax Cambodia. The event saw approximately 800 cyclists riding directly from Phnom Penh to Takeo Province, aimed at helping the environment, supporting education, and promoting eco-tourism.
This event was presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, alongside H.E. Vei Samnang Takeo Provincial Governor. in addition, the Phnom Da Cultural and Ecotourism Community participated, with coordination provided by the Angkor Borei District authorities to ensure safe travel.
Sovannaphum Life Assurance is extremely honored to receive a letter of appreciation from His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, for participating in “Phnom Da Green Tourism and Education Cycling Event” heading to Phnom Da Temple in Takeo Province, sport in the Green Season.
Sovannaphum Life Assurance was delighted to participate in supporting the education sector by bringing study materials to 400 primary school students from four primary schools around the Phnom Da area, including: Bak Dai Primary School, Toul Puthea Primary School, Kok Thlok Primary School, and Ta Chor Pha Ra Real Primary School. Sovannaphum Life always participates in social work activities, focusing on the well-being and education of Cambodian children.
In addition to supporting education, all participants also joined hands to plant over 600 trees along both sides of the road up to Phnom Da Temple, contributing to environmental protection, enhancing natural beauty, and promoting tourism in this historical temple site.
Mr. Chhoun Sopheaksada president of the Audax Cambodia Club stated that after the committee announced registration for a short period not even two weeks yet about 800 riders have registered to participate in this sports event linking tourism, the environment, and charity. He also expressed deep gratitude to the companies that actively participated in this event, contributing to a social cause aimed at promoting student education and improving the environment.
These contributions clearly reflect the strong belief of Sovannaphum Life in giving back to society through charitable activities and its true commitment to supporting education and contributing to environmental preservation.
