Siem Reap, April 25, 2026 – Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. is proud to have received a Certificate of Recognition from the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC) during the “Cambodia Insurance Day 2026” event held in Siem Reap. This certificate was awarded to Sovannaphum Life for its charitable contribution of 4,000,000 Riels to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation.

The Cambodia Insurance Day event was organized by the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC) in collaboration with the Insurance Association of Cambodia (IAC), the Cambodian Insurance Brokers Association (CIBA), and various insurance institutions. The event aimed to raise awareness about the benefits of insurance and to bring insurance services closer to the public. The ceremony was held under the high presidency of H.E. Ros Seilava, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Vice Chairman of the Council of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority, serving as the representative of H.E. Akka Pundit Sopheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the Council of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority; Mr. Ly Sary, Deputy Governor of the Board of Governors of Siem Reap Province; H.E. Bou Chanphirou, Director General of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia; and Excellencies and Lok Chumteavs who are members of the Council of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority, alongside the Chairman of the Insurance Association of Cambodia and the Cambodia Insurance Brokers Association.
