SIEM REAP, April 25, 2026 – Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. (SVL) has continues doing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the 2nd quarter of 2026. This mission brought Study material and cash donation of 1,000,000 Riels to Somrong Primary School, located in the Angkor Thom District of Siem Reap Province.

Since 2023, Sovannaphum Life has remained dedicated to its quarterly CSR program. This visit marks the company’s second major initiative of 2026, driven by the firm belief that education is the most valuable gift a nation can provide its youth. By providing these materials, Sovannaphum Life aims to bridge the gap in resources and ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom

The donation package included:

  • For the Students: Comprehensive Study material for all 443 students. Each set includes Gym sack 02 handwriting books, pencils, rulers, erasers, and sharpeners.
  • For School Administration: A complete desktop computer set and 8 cases of A4 paper to support the school’s transition toward digital administration and assist teachers in preparing lesson materials.
  • A cash donation of 1,000,000 Riels to assist with the school’s immediate operational needs.

During the event, the team from Sovannaphum Life was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt appreciation from the local community. Mr. Chea Vannak, Principal of Somrong Primary School, shared his gratitude during his opening remarks: “I want to thank Sovannaphum Life for coming today. Traveling all the way to our community shows a profound commitment to the future of Cambodian children. Sovannaphum Life has done so much for our community, and we wish the company continued success.”

Representing the company, Mr. Hang Socheth, VP & Head, Bancassurance, along with other senior management and staffs, engaged with the students to offering smiles and meaningful support to the students.
