Kampong Cham, May 25, 2025 – Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. continues its commitment to supporting and empowering women in Cambodia. Following the announcement made during Women Run 10K 2025, the company has fulfilled its promise by donating 3 laptops to Women Are Gold (WAG)—a nonprofit community center in Kampong Cham dedicated to preventing human trafficking and creating education and training opportunities for at-risk young women and girls.
WAG provides a safe learning environment for young women and girls who are at risk of trafficking or have experienced exploitation. The organization focuses on prevention through education and community training—equipping women and girls with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves and access better opportunities.
Mr. Sophal Dyamony, SVP & Head of Agency, led the Sovannaphum Life team at the donation ceremony. In his remarks, he emphasized the practical impact of the contribution. “We are pleased to support WAG’s mission through the donation of three laptops. These tools will help deliver computer training to young women in the program and will also support WAG’s outreach efforts, such as internet safety education in local schools.“

Her message served to inspire the young women present—many of whom have faced difficult circumstances—to see leadership, resilience, and independence as goals within reach.
