Battambang, April 27, 2026 — Sovannaphum Life Assurance has once again fulfilled its mission to support women’s empowerment by delivering educational supplies and essential materials in totaling 4,000,000 Riels to the Banteay Srei organization in Battambang province.
This year’s Women Run 10k event held deep significance, with a large turnout of over 4,000 participants. In line with its commitment to transforming this event into a Corporate Social Responsibility, Sovannaphum Life Assurance donated 2,000 Riels per participant and totaling 8,000,000 Riels donation to 2 organizations, one of which is the Banteay Srei organization.
Banteay Srei organization has a strong vision and mission to support women in Cambodia. Vision a just Cambodian society in which women realize their full potential, are living with equality and dignity, and their rights are fully respected. Mission Banteay Srei is a Cambodian women’s non‐governmental organisation that empowers women and their families to enhance their political, economic, and psycho‐social well-being. We achieve this through mobilizing communities for sustainable development, advocating for gender justice, and promoting men’s engagement in advancing gender equality.
During the visit, In this initiative, Sovannaphum Life Assurance provided essential supplies, including 50 educational kits consisting of gymsacks, notebooks, pens, and rulers. Additionally, to support the daily operational needs of the Safe House Project, the company donated various essential household items, including 100 Sarongs, 4 plastic storage cabinets, 5 electric fans, 10 rolls of plastic floor mats, and 6 cases of hygiene products (3 cases of shampoo and 3 cases of body wash) designed to support the daily operations of the project Safety House.
