During the event, Mr. Loke Kah Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc., said he was very pleased with this year’s event and its meaningful outcome. We are honored to once again collaborate with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) to organize the Women Run 10K in Phnom Penh under the theme “Women Run the Path of Peace.” For this year’s Women Run 10K, Sovannaphum Life Assurance will donate 2,000 riels for each registered participant, with the total donation reaching up to 8,000,000 riels. These funds will be given to two selected organizations in Siem Reap Province that focus on supporting women in Cambodia.

  • Banteay Srei is a Cambodian women’s NGO to encourage engagement in public commitment to strengthening protection and support for those vulnerable to gender-based violence and provide shelter for those in need and skills for them to make a living, supporting communities, promoting gender equality, and empowering women socially and economically.

We aim to donate things they need in items such as bikes, sleep materials, books for the library, and education support for their children.

  • Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is an NGO that empowers women through information, counseling, and education. It provides a safe drop-in center, support services, and workshops on health, rights, parenting, and financial skills. We aim to donate things they need in items such as sewing machines for training and study materials for children of single mothers.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants for your enthusiasm and contribution. Together we created a memorable day—and we can’t wait to see you again at Women Run 10K, empowered by Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc, next year.
